We Went FISHIN' this morning!

Today is Saturday, and we went fishin'! I like to go fishing at our favorite fishing spot just west of American Falls because there is never many people around, and the fish jump around a lot. It was beautiful this morning. It was driving me NUTS because there were fish jumping all around my hook, but none of them wanted to partake of my worms and spinners. But we went to the dock and sat up our chair and sat down, put a big worm on a hook, and sat and patiently waited for little fishies to bite.
15 minutes later, I caught my fish...the guy sitting next to me told me it was a small mouth bass. I know nothing of fishing, so we sat and talked to the guys next to us, and he was catching rainbow trout and bass, and I caught this bass, and it totally made my day. I am totally addicted to fishing, now that I actually caught something. My dream is to buy one of those aluminum fishing boats with a motor, and go sit out on the snake river and just relax and fish all day. That is my dream, and one of these days it's going to become a reality. Here are a couple of other pictures that we took of our fishing hole. I like this place!
By the way, pepper came fishing with us. She likes to hunt around the fishin' grounds and sniff things and tempt herself at jumping in the water after a pelican or bird, or even a fish. One of the guys that was sitting next to us caught a fish and put it on a line to take home. Pepper was very curious about this fish and kept trying to sniff it. The fish splashed her in the face. It was very funny to see!
