American Falls Dam Fishing
Yesterday Todd came down to Pocatello early in the morning so that we could drive over to American Falls and go fishing. We like to fish, so I took him to my favorite fishing hole. About 10 minutes after we got there, he decided he d my fishing spot. He didn't like all the weeds and crum that was floating around in the river. Needless to say, I caught my 1st fish there. So there were fish all over the place jumping, he just was in a winey mood, so we went up to the American Falls Reservoir.
We found a point along the shore that stuck out quite a ways into the water, so we parked and walked around the point, looking for any signs of fish (particularly Bass). We tried fishing in several locations, but didn't get any bites.
So we went below the dam and the fishing was a lot better down there. I guess that's a mood point because we really did not catch anything for a long time. There were however very large fish jumping all around us. These dang fish were taunting us all morning and afternoon. Todd actually "Supposedly" had a bite from a very large fish. We're talking a 16" fish weighing a couple of pounds. He said he had it on his line, and the fish jumped out of the water and spit the lure out of its mouth. I didn't see the fish jump, so I can't guarantee that he actually even saw this fish, but I am taking his word for it. We spent the better part of a day trying to catch these retarded fish that kept jumping all around our hooks.
Finally when we were supposed to be heading back to Pocatello, the little fish started biting, so we got a few fish. I think the total count was
SCOTT- 4 fish
TODD- 3 fish
So I won, but it was a long and rough day. It wouldn't have been so bad if we would have caught a big fish. Well, I'll be back! Enjoy the pics.

Eileen, you look wonderful and quite small for being 23 weeks. And I think pregnancy is beautiful too. :)
