We're Still Surviving as Parents!

We can't help but to post lots of pictures of baby Holly. She is SO cute...when she is happy of course. She is happy when she has a clean diaper and lots of milk in her belly...oh yea, and when mommy is holding her. She's more impartial to mommy for now.

Last night, we put Pepper and Holly on our bed and this is what happened. Pepper apparently is feeling more comfortable around Holly, so she wanted to cuddle with her, just like she does with us when we let her! So cute!

Cute Dog!

This was a picture of Holly and Daddy last Sunday. She got all dressed up in her Jean Skirt outfit and she looked just adorable. These babies are a lot of work! We have to start like 2 hours before church just to get us and baby ready to go to be on time. Last Sunday we actually made it to church on time. WooHoo

Baby sleeps alot! So we have to take lots of pictures while she sleeps! Oh well

As I had previously mentioned before, Holly is partial to Mommy. And of course mommy is partial to Holly! So all goes well. Mommy hates to go to work M,W,and F each week in order to pay the bills and let Scott struggle through Pharmacy School. But she does it anyways because she is a wonderful wife. We bring holly over to our friends house where their mom watches her. She apparently does very well over there, so it's a good thing.

A couple of nights ago, I was taking a relaxing hot bath and when I got out I broke out in all these red spots on my arm. Then they spread to my chest. Then they spread to ALL OVER my body, from scalp to feet. I didn't think much of it till the next day when it didn't get any better. So I went to the doctor and apparently I came down with the HIVES! Who knew? I have never had the hives, but apparently I had an allergic reaction to either something I ate or it also could be my immune system ramped up trying to fight off some infection I have and the hives just broke out as a side effect. So anyways, as I sit here typing this up, I am very itchy and it's not fun. Sorry for the gross picture!

Finally, more pictures of Holly and Us!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

Yes, we are late on this blog, but I feel that later than never is OK. We had an interesting Christmas this year. Due to the fact that baby Holly was born on the 3rd of December, we decided to stay home and enjoy Christmas together as a family. It is still weird to not have all the loud, obnoxious family around. I missed it! But anyways, we opened up presents (they were pretty slim this year because we had a baby for Christmas!) and then just hung out. In the afternoon, we drove to Idaho Falls in the slush and snow to go eat Christmas dinner with Nate and Heidi. We played Guitar Hero and just had a great time. As we were driving home, I was telling Eileen how slippery the roads were NOT and how we were just fine driving at night on the freezing road. All of a sudden, our car started to Fish Tail. We fish-tailed like twice, and SOMEHOW I was able to keep us on the road. In all reality, we SHOULD HAVE crashed off the side off the side of the road. But God blessed us immensely. So that was scary, but we're good now. Here are a few pics from Christmas...

Then a few days later, it snowed like crazy over here in Pocatello. We got like at least a foot and a half. So we decided to go play in it. The last few years around here have been very mild...not like the winters should be. We should be receiving FEET of snow, but it's been very weak since I've lived here in Pocatello.

Eileen is posing like Vanna White on top of our car. WooHOO!!!

Eileen is carrying Holly around in a fancy carrier. All she has to do is strap it on and let her fall asleep!

This is typically what happens when Daddy gets to hold Daughter! SCREAM!!!

So there you go. Tata for now

Techy Trick of the Month- Add a favicon to Blogger

Techy Trick of the Month

As most of you all know, I like to play with computers, so I thought I would share this with you...if anyone cares. I think it's cool...

If you are familiar with the internet, you will notice a Favicon in the top-left corner of the address bar. Ever wonder how to make one of your own? Here's how to do it in Blogger.

1- Convert any picture or drawing, or symbol to an icon file. You can do this free HERE or HERE.
2- Download this icon to computer, then upload it to a place that can host your picture for free. The 2nd link above I believe will host your favicon for free. If not, then search google for Favicon Hosting.
3- Copy and past this code into your Blogger html code...

<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/ico" href="http://example.myfavatar.com/favicon.ico">

The important thing is that you post this right above the </head> tag toward the bottom your blogger HTML. Also update the http://link where your favicon is being hosted.
4- Whala!!! Save and test it and your favicon should work wonderfully for all to see.

*NOTE- for websites only, just upload your favicon to the folder of your webpage and then paste the first line of the code into your webpage.

This is what mine says...
<link href='http://www.scottandeileenmyers.com/favicon.ico' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/ico'/>
